Chäserrugg Piste Map and Overview
Tucked away in the Toggenburg region of Eastern Switzerland, Chäserrugg is one of those rare ski areas that still feels authentic, uncrowded, and genuinely connected to the mountains around it. Instead of mega-resort chaos, you get beautifully groomed pistes, panoramic Alpine views, and a relaxed atmosphere that appeals to skiers and snowboarders who want quality terrain without the long lift queues. The resort stretches across Unterwasser and Alt St. Johann, offering scenic cruising runs, long descents, and plenty of room to explore at your own pace.
What really makes Chäserrugg stand out is its balance. Advanced riders can enjoy steep natural terrain and long carving runs, while beginners and families benefit from quieter slopes and excellent learning areas. Snowboarders particularly love the wide-open pistes and flowing terrain that make linking turns feel effortless. Add in the striking summit architecture by Herzog & de Meuron, cosy mountain restaurants, and spectacular views across the Churfirsten mountain range, and you have a ski destination that feels far more exclusive than its price tag suggests.
