Hochzeiger Piste Map and Overview

Located in Austria’s beautiful Pitztal Valley in Tyrol, Hochzeiger is one of the Alps’ best-kept secrets. While it may not have the vast size of some of Austria’s mega-resorts, it makes up for it with perfectly groomed pistes, reliable snow conditions, and a relaxed atmosphere that appeals to families, beginners, and experienced skiers alike. With over 90% of its slopes situated above 2,000 metres and a modern lift system serving the entire mountain, Hochzeiger offers a snow-sure skiing experience without the crowds often found at larger resorts.

What really makes Hochzeiger stand out is its balance of accessibility and variety. Beginners benefit from dedicated learning areas and the resort’s “Easy Skier Line,” while intermediate skiers can enjoy long, flowing red runs with spectacular views over the Pitztal mountains. Advanced skiers aren’t forgotten either, with challenging descents such as the famous Zirbenfall black run. Add in a snow park, family fun areas, excellent mountain restaurants, and a friendly local atmosphere, and Hochzeiger delivers a high-quality ski holiday without feeling overwhelming.
