Ladis Piste Map and Overview

Set on the sunny Tyrolean plateau above the Inn Valley, Ladis is the smallest and quietest of the three villages in the world-class Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area, but it plays a really important role as a peaceful, scenic gateway into one of Austria’s biggest ski systems. The village itself is traditional and charming, with a castle overlooking the valley and a relaxed atmosphere that feels far removed from busier alpine hubs. From Ladis, a modern gondola quickly connects you into the wider ski area, meaning you get instant access to a huge network of slopes while still staying in a calm, low-key base.

For skiers and snowboarders, Ladis is especially attractive for its easy access and smooth progression terrain. The connection back into the village includes a long, gentle blue run that is ideal for cruising at the end of the day, while higher up the mountain you’ll find wide carving reds and expansive plateau skiing shared with Fiss and Serfaus. Beginners benefit from dedicated learning areas and gentle slopes near the mid-stations, while intermediates can comfortably explore the full 200+ km ski network. Snowboarders enjoy the modern lift system, open terrain bowls, and reliable grooming that makes linking runs across the region very easy.

Ski Season Length and Dates

The Ladis / Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area typically operates from early December through mid-April, depending on snow conditions. Thanks to its high plateau location (1,200–2,828 m) and strong snowmaking system, conditions are generally very reliable, especially in the upper sectors and north-facing slopes.

Is it good for beginners?

Yes — Ladis is one of the better beginner-friendly bases in the region.

  • Gentle village access run back into Ladis
  • Easy connection to beginner areas in the mid-mountain zone
  • Wide, forgiving blue pistes shared with Fiss
  • Excellent ski schools and children’s learning zones nearby

It works particularly well for first or second ski holidays, although absolute beginners will usually spend their early time in the dedicated practice areas above the village before exploring further.

What’s included in the Ski Pass?

A standard Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski pass includes:

  • Full access to the entire 214 km Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area
  • All lifts connecting Ladis, Fiss, and Serfaus
  • Access to all marked pistes (blue, red, black, and ski routes)
  • Beginner zones and children’s ski areas
  • Snowparks and fun zones across the region
  • High-alpine sectors including Masner and Pezid
  • Toboggan runs and selected winter activity areas

Does it include multiple resorts?

Yes — fully integrated.

One ski pass covers:

These are all part of one interconnected ski system with seamless lift links and shared terrain across the plateau.

Are there cheaper ski passes for only part of the area?

Yes, but with a catch:

  • There is no true “Ladis-only” full ski experience pass because Ladis is mainly an access village
  • You can still buy:
    • Short-duration tickets (half-day / multi-day)
    • Beginner-area focused tickets in limited zones

However, most visitors choose the full Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis pass, since the real value comes from accessing the entire 214 km network rather than just the village-side terrain.

If you’re looking for a quiet, traditional alpine village with direct access to one of Austria’s biggest and best-organised ski areas, Ladis is a great low-key base with easy access to world-class skiing.
