Pejo 3000 Piste Map and Overview

Set high in the spectacular Stelvio National Park, Pejo 3000 is one of the most scenic and snow-sure ski destinations in Trentino. What makes this resort special is the combination of peaceful alpine surroundings, high-altitude terrain, and beautifully maintained pistes that never feel overcrowded. The resort stretches from forested lower slopes to dramatic open mountain scenery at 3,000 metres, giving skiers and snowboarders incredible panoramic views across the Ortler-Cevedale mountain range. Because of its altitude, snow conditions are usually excellent throughout the winter season, making it a fantastic choice for reliable skiing without the hectic atmosphere of larger resorts.

Pejo 3000 is especially popular with intermediate skiers and snowboarders thanks to its long cruising red runs, wide pistes, and flowing descents that are perfect for carving. Beginners also benefit from the relaxed pace of the resort, while more advanced riders can enjoy steep sections such as the Delle Cole black run and freeride terrain higher up the mountain. One of the highlights is the incredible 8 km Val della Mite descent, which drops all the way back to the valley floor through changing alpine landscapes. Off the slopes, the nearby spa town of Pejo Terme adds a unique wellness element that makes the whole experience feel more relaxed and authentic than many mainstream Alpine resorts.

Ski Season Length and Dates:

The ski season in Pejo usually runs from early December through mid-to-late April, with some of the most reliable snow conditions in Trentino due to the resort’s exceptionally high altitude. The Pejo 3000 glacier-facing slopes help preserve snow quality well into spring, while snowmaking systems support lower runs throughout the winter. March and early April are particularly popular for sunny skiing combined with excellent upper-mountain conditions.

Is it good for beginners?

Yes — Pejo is a very good resort for beginners and improving skiers. The lower mountain has gentle nursery slopes, wide beginner-friendly pistes, and dedicated learning zones supported by experienced ski schools. Because the resort is quieter than many larger Alpine destinations, beginners often feel more relaxed and confident while learning. More advanced beginners can then progress onto the long blue and red cruising runs higher up the mountain without feeling overwhelmed by heavy traffic.
