Gressoney-La-Trinité Piste Map and Overview

Gressoney-La-Trinité is often considered the true heart of the Monterosa Ski area, and for good reason – it gives you direct access to one of the largest and most scenic interconnected ski regions in Italy. From here, you can ski seamlessly across multiple valleys toward Champoluc and Alagna, covering huge distances on long, uncrowded runs. The terrain is high-altitude and snow-sure, with dramatic views of the Monte Rosa massif, making every descent feel like a proper Alpine adventure rather than just another piste lap.

What really sets Gressoney apart is its focus on intermediate-to-advanced skiing and world-class freeride terrain. The pistes are long, flowing, and often more challenging than your typical resort runs, while off-piste routes from areas like Punta Indren offer over 1,000 m of vertical for experienced skiers. It’s not a flashy resort – it’s quieter, more traditional – but if you’re here to ski seriously and explore big mountain terrain without crowds, it’s one of the best-kept secrets in the Alps.
