Titlis – Engelberg Piste Map and Overview
Titlis–Engelberg (Switzerland) is a compelling ski destination thanks to its dramatic vertical terrain, glacier skiing, and reliable snow conditions. The resort sits high in the Swiss Alps and features slopes that span from about 1,000 m up to over 3,000 m, giving a massive 2,000 m vertical drop that keeps snow conditions strong deep into the season — and on the glacier you can often ski from October through May. Its famous Rotair revolving cable car makes the ascent up to Klein Titlis an experience in itself, and from there you can enjoy long, varied runs including the 12 km descent back to Engelberg. The mix of steep off‑piste terrain and long cruisers appeals to advanced skiers, while the Brunni area provides gentler slopes for families and intermediates.
The Engelberg village at the base adds to the draw — a charming Alpine town with good transport links (including direct trains from Lucerne) and a lively ski town vibe. While the ski area isn’t as vast as some of the mega‑resorts in the Alps, its huge vertical, glacier access and freedom for advanced skiing make it stand out, especially for those who value challenging terrain and breathtaking mountain scenery.
