Smugglers’ Notch Resort, affectionately known as “Smuggs,” offers a diverse and family-friendly skiing experience in the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains. The resort spans three interconnected mountains – Morse, Madonna, and Sterling – providing a variety of terrain suitable for all skill levels. With 78 trails and 8 lifts, including 6 chairlifts and 2 surface lifts, Smuggs ensures minimal wait times and a relaxed atmosphere. The resort is renowned for its exceptional snowmaking capabilities, covering approximately 98% of its terrain, and its commitment to grooming, offering a consistently high-quality skiing surface throughout the season.

Smugglers’ Notch boasts a vertical drop of 2,610 feet (795 meters), making it the fourth largest in New England and the third largest in Vermont. The resort’s base elevation is 1,030 feet (314 meters), with the summit reaching 3,640 feet (1,111 meters), providing skiers with expansive views and a variety of runs. Additionally, Smuggs offers 58 kilometers (36 miles) of cross-country and snowshoe trails, catering to those seeking a different winter adventure.
