Okemo Mountain Resort in Vermont is a premier ski destination prized for its extensive terrain variety, well-groomed slopes, and family-focused amenities. With a total of 667 skiable acres, the resort features 121+ trails with a balanced mix of beginner, intermediate, and advanced terrain – including turf for freestylers across eight terrain parks and a Superpipe. It’s consistently praised for its snowmaking capacity (covering about 98% of terrain) and top-tier grooming, ensuring reliable conditions throughout the season. Okemo’s vertical drop of 2,200 ft (670 m) ranks it as the largest in southern Vermont and puts it among the top verticals in New England. The mountain’s elevation ranges from a base of 1,144 ft (346 m) up to a summit of 3,344 ft (1,019 m), offering long, scenic cruisers – some stretching over 6.4 km (4 miles) – plus challenging glades and steeper pitches for more advanced skiers.
