Sunday River Ski Resort, located in Newry, Maine, is one of the largest and most popular ski destinations in the northeastern United States. Spanning eight interconnected peaks—White Cap, Locke Mountain, Barker Mountain, Spruce Peak, North Peak, Aurora Peak, Oz, and Jordan Bowl—the resort offers a diverse range of terrain suitable for all skill levels. With 135 trails and a vertical drop of 2,340 feet, Sunday River provides ample opportunities for skiers and snowboarders to explore its expansive landscape. The resort’s lift system includes 20 lifts, including high-speed quads, a gondola, and surface lifts, ensuring efficient access to its varied terrain.
