Quoggy Jo Piste Map and Overview
Quoggy Jo Ski Center, located in Presque Isle, Maine, is a community-focused ski area that offers an inviting environment for families and beginner skiers. Established in the 1957–58 season, the resort features a vertical drop of 215 feet and is served by a classic T-bar lift. The ski area encompasses approximately 10 acres of skiable terrain, including three wide slopes and four narrow wooded trails. One of the slopes is designated as a terrain park, featuring a half-pipe for freestyle enthusiasts. While only three trails have posted difficulty ratings, none are classified as more challenging than intermediate, making Quoggy Jo an ideal location for those new to the sport or seeking a relaxed skiing experience.
In addition to its daytime offerings, Quoggy Jo provides night skiing, allowing visitors to enjoy the slopes under the lights. However, the resort does not have snowmaking capabilities, relying entirely on natural snowfall to maintain its trails. Despite its modest size, Quoggy Jo’s commitment to affordability and community engagement has solidified its status as a cherished local destination for winter recreation.
