Sauze d’Oulx is one of the liveliest and most characterful resorts in the Via Lattea (Milky Way) ski area, combining excellent skiing with a vibrant, welcoming village atmosphere. Set on sunny south-facing slopes, it’s known for its long, flowing intermediate runs that wind down through forests and open mountain terrain. The resort has a relaxed but energetic feel, making it a favourite for skiers who want great skiing by day and a social, friendly vibe by night.

What really sets Sauze d’Oulx apart is how well it connects into the wider Via Lattea ski network. From the village, you can easily access hundreds of kilometres of linked pistes stretching across Italy and into France. It’s especially popular with intermediates thanks to its endless cruising terrain, but beginners will also find good progression areas, while more advanced skiers can explore higher, more challenging sectors across the region.
