Pragelato Ski Map

Pragelato is a peaceful, traditional Alpine village tucked into the Italian side of the Via Lattea (Milky Way) ski area, offering a much quieter experience than the busier resort hubs like Sestriere. Surrounded by forests and mountain scenery, it feels authentic and relaxed, with a strong local character that makes it especially appealing for skiers who prefer a slower pace and fewer crowds.

What makes Pragelato unique is that it blends calm village life with access to one of Europe’s largest ski networks. While the village itself is more low-key, it connects easily into the wider Via Lattea system via lifts and links, giving access to hundreds of kilometres of terrain. It’s particularly popular with intermediates who enjoy scenic cruising runs, while beginners benefit from the gentle learning areas nearby.
