Torgon Piste Map and Overview

Torgon is a peaceful, family‑oriented ski village in the Swiss Valais that offers a relaxed, charming alpine experience with amazing views of Lake Geneva and the Dents du Midi. Although it feels “small” compared to big ski resorts, it punches above its weight: it has its own well‑maintained slopes for beginners and intermediates, plus good freeride terrain for more advanced skiers. Because of its high-altitude position as a gateway, you can easily link into the Portes du Soleil ski domain – giving you access to a huge playground while keeping the friendly village vibe at the end of the day.

For those looking to explore more, Torgon is part of a larger network that rewards both powder-chasers and casual skiers. The Torgon area includes a variety of runs (blue, red, and even black), so there’s something for everyone. Thanks to its inclusion in cross-border passes, you can comfortably start your day in Switzerland and ski your way into French resorts – offering great variety, flexibility, and that iconic “ski without borders” feel.

What’s included in the Torgon Ski Pass?

  • With a Portes du Soleil ski pass, you can ski from Torgon into the full network of 12 interconnected Franco‑Swiss resorts.
  • There is also an Espace Liberté ski pass, which specifically covers: Torgon, La Chapelle d’Abondance (Crêt‑Béni & Braitaz), Super Châtel, Barbossine, Linga, Pré La Joux – in total 82 slopes and 59 lifts, about 130 km of runs.
  • There are cheaper, more limited options: you don’t always have to buy the full Portes du Soleil pass. For example, the Espace Liberté pass is a good way to enjoy Torgon plus selected nearby areas without paying for the whole domain.
