Champéry Piste Map and Overview
Champéry is a truly special spot to ski and snowboard – nestled in the Swiss Alps beneath the dramatic peaks of the Dents du Midi, it feels like a picture-postcard Alpine village. Taking the Champéry-Planachaux cable car or the fast Grand Paradis chairlift whisks you up to high, scenic terrain that’s both accessible and varied. Locally, there are slopes for all abilities – from blues that gently wind through the landscape to more challenging reds, and even the legendary “Swiss Wall” (Pas de Chavanette) for the adrenaline seekers. The views are simply stunning, and the quaint, traditional village below offers a warm, relaxing contrast when you head back down.
But the real magic comes from Champéry’s gateway role into the Portes du Soleil, one of the world’s largest interconnected ski domains. With just a few lifts you can access an enormous cross-border ski area that links Swiss resorts like Les Crosets, Champoussin and Morgins with French favourites such as Avoriaz, Morzine and Les Gets. This means you can explore a huge variety of terrain over your holiday – everything from wide, gentle cruising runs to steep chutes and hidden freeride gems. For snowboarders and freestylers, there are snowparks too, and the blend of local charm with epic ski scope makes Champéry feel like a cosy base for big mountain adventures.

What’s included in the Champéry Ski Pass?
There is a limited pass option called the Swiss-only (CLCF) pass, which is cheaper than purchasing a pass to cover all of Portes du Soleil. The Swiss-only (CLCF) pass covers just Champéry, Les Crosets, Champoussin and Morgins (and their lifts/routes), without giving access to the wider French part of Portes du Soleil.
With a Portes du Soleil ski pass, you can access the full cross-border area, not just the Champéry sector. Without this, you would be limited to just the local Swiss side. If you only want to ski Champéry and its immediate neighbourhood (e.g. Les Crosets, Champoussin, Morgins), there is a separate Swiss-only pass (the CLCF pass) that covers those resorts, so you don’t necessarily need to buy the full area pass if you plan to stay more local.
