La Videmanette Piste Map and Overview

La Videmanette is one of the most thrilling ski sectors in the Gstaad region, best known for its dramatic vertical drop and long, uninterrupted descents. Advanced skiers especially love this mountain because it offers some of the steepest and most exciting terrain in the area, including a legendary top-to-bottom run that stretches for miles. The scenery is equally impressive, with sweeping alpine views and a high-altitude summit that gives you a true big-mountain feel. The cable car lift provides quick access to the top, so you can maximize time on challenging slopes rather than waiting in line.

While it’s famous for its steeper runs, La Videmanette still has enjoyable terrain for strong intermediates, particularly higher up where slopes are wider and less intense. Because it’s slightly less crowded than central Gstaad sectors, it’s perfect for confident skiers and snowboarders who want space to carve fast turns. Combined with neighboring terrain in the same ski domain, it delivers both adventure and variety, making it a standout destination for those seeking more demanding slopes.
