ChandolinPiste Map and Overview
Perched at over 2,000 metres, Chandolin is one of the highest year-round inhabited villages in Europe, offering spectacular views and excellent snow reliability. It forms part of the wider Val d’Anniviers ski region, connecting with nearby resorts like St-Luc. The slopes here are wonderfully scenic and often quieter than Switzerland’s bigger-name destinations, making it ideal for skiers and snowboarders who value space, views, and a relaxed mountain atmosphere.
Chandolin stands out for its sunny exposure and high-altitude terrain, which keeps snow conditions reliable throughout the season. The runs are largely confidence-building and well-groomed, perfect for relaxed cruising and progression. At the same time, more advanced riders can find steeper sections and off-piste opportunities higher up the mountain. It’s a balanced, authentic Swiss experience without the heavy crowds.
