Jasná Nízke Tatry is Slovakia’s premier ski resort, offering a diverse and expansive alpine experience in the heart of the Low Tatras. Spanning both the northern and southern slopes of Mt. Chopok, the resort boasts over 50 km (31 miles) of skiable terrain, catering to all skill levels with a balanced mix of blue, red, and black runs. With a significant vertical drop of 1,061 m (3,481 ft), skiers can enjoy long, uninterrupted descents. The resort is equipped with 19 modern lifts, including high-capacity gondolas and chairlifts, ensuring efficient access across the mountain.
Beyond its well-groomed pistes, Jasná is renowned for its extensive freeride zones, snow parks, and night skiing opportunities, making it a versatile destination for winter sports enthusiasts. The resort’s advanced snowmaking system covers over 34 km (21 miles) of trails, guaranteeing reliable snow conditions throughout the season. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a vibrant après-ski scene, with numerous mountain huts, restaurants, and bars offering local cuisine and entertainment.
