Vierli – Rauland Piste Map and Overview
Vierli – Rauland is the highest and most snow‑sure section of the Rauland ski area in Telemark, Norway, and is especially popular with intermediate and advanced skiers looking for longer runs and steeper terrain. As part of the overall Rauland network (alongside Tiur and Holtardalen), Vierli offers well-groomed red and black runs, some fun freeride spots, and terrain parks, all set in a classic Norwegian mountain plateau with wide views and plenty of snow. Its location and higher elevation make it one of the most reliable parts of Rauland for winter sports, ideal for skiers who want a more dynamic alpine experience while staying in a family-friendly resort.
Vierli is fully integrated into the Rauland lift pass system, so you can move between Vierli, Tiur, and Holtardalen without extra tickets. It’s especially appreciated for its longer vertical drops, freeride potential, and slightly quieter slopes compared to the lower areas, making it perfect for skiers who enjoy speed, variety, and uninterrupted runs. For families, it also connects well with the gentler areas, so everyone in a group can find suitable terrain.
