Kordes Piste Map and Overview

Kordes trase offers one of the steeper and more “adrenaline‑oriented” hills among the smaller ski slopes in Latvia. According to its tourism info, the “big slope” is about 275 m long and has a vertical drop of around 84 m. This – together with a steeper gradient, a “black” (difficult) run option and a more challenging red run – means it’s often described as one of the more “extreme” and exciting options in Latvia for downhill skiing.

At the same time, Kordes remains fairly modest in size compared to large alpine resorts, which gives it a convenient, compact and accessible feel – it’s close to the town of Sigulda (about 4 km away) and offers ski‑lift access, equipment rental, and slopes of varying difficulty (from easier to harder), making it useful for mixed‑ability groups whether you want a quick ski outing or something a bit more challenging.
