Vigo Piste Map and Overview

Vigo di Fassa is a beautiful, traditional Dolomite village that’s also a gateway to some truly scenic skiing in the Val di Fassa/Carezza ski area. From Vigo you can take the cable car up to the Catinaccio/Ciampedie slopes, where panoramic views of the Catinaccio, Sassolungo and surrounding peaks greet you as soon as you step off the lift. The runs here range from gentle blue cruisers perfect for families and intermediate skiers to the classic Alberto Tomba black run — famously used by the Ski World Cup legend for training — giving adventurous skiers something fun to aim for.

But what really makes Vigo di Fassa special is its connection to the wider Val di Fassa ski terrain and the incredible Dolomiti Superski network. With one ski pass, you can access over 200 km of slopes in Val di Fassa alone — including Buffaure/Ciampac, Belvedere/Col Rodella, and more — and even the famous Sellaronda circuit, a world-renowned ski route that links several Dolomite valleys in a single, unforgettable loop. This mix of intimate village slopes and extensive, varied skiing makes Vigo a great base whether you love peaceful alpine scenery or big ski days exploring multiple areas.
