Dalirnir Tveir Piste Map and Overview
Dalirnir tveir (Ísafjörður) is a lovely ski and snowboarding spot – compact, friendly and full of Icelandic charm. It actually comprises two connected ski zones: Tungudalur (for downhill) and Seljalandsdalur (for cross‑country / nordic skiing) – so you get quite a mix of experiences in a tiny, easy‑to‑access package.
What stands out about Dalirnir tveir is the variety relative to its size: Tungudalur offers three ski lifts and multiple slopes that cater to beginners, intermediates – even more experienced skiers if they want steeper runs or off‑piste. Meanwhile, Seljalandsdalur gives you the chance to go cross‑country on regularly groomed trails – a nice contrast to alpine skiing, and a great way to soak in Iceland’s winter landscapes at a slower pace.
Dalirnir tveir is also known as the ski area at Ísafjörður / Tungudalur downhill zone + Seljalandsdalur nordic/cross‑country zone.
