Perched in the French Pyrenees and one of the largest ski areas in the region, Saint-Lary-Soulan delivers an excellent blend of terrain, atmosphere, and mountain scenery. With over 105 km of groomed slopes stretching from around 1,597 m up to 2,515 m, the resort offers sweeping alpine vistas, long runs, and varied terrain all in one interconnected domain. Its mix of wide open pistes and more technical sections caters to a broad range of riders, making it a popular choice for families, groups, and individual skiers and snowboarders alike.

What makes Saint-Lary stand out is its balance of friendly beginner terrain and more adventurous runs. Wide blue slopes around Pla d’Adet are ideal for novices and confident cruisers, while intermediates have plenty of long red runs to explore across the valley. There are also challenging sections and steeper terrain for experienced riders, although this is a smaller portion of the area.
