Les Orres Piste Map and Overview

Set in the heart of the Southern French Alps, Les Orres is a bright, sunny ski resort that combines high-altitude skiing with a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. Sitting between 1,550 m and 2,720 m, it benefits from excellent snow preservation thanks to its north-west facing slopes and elevated terrain, while still offering that famous “southern Alps sunshine” feel. The result is a resort where you can enjoy long, scenic ski days with wide-open views over the Écrins mountains and Serre-Ponçon lake.

What makes Les Orres especially appealing is its balance of variety and simplicity. With around 100 km of pistes spread across multiple village levels (1550, 1650, and 1800), it offers enough terrain to keep intermediates and progressing skiers engaged, while still remaining compact and easy to navigate. Add in forested runs, modern lifts, and a laid-back vibe with far fewer crowds than many larger Alpine resorts, and it becomes a great option for those who want good skiing without stress or complexity.
