La Giettaz Piste Map and Overview
La Giettaz is a wonderfully charming alpine village with a ski area that feels warm, intimate, and authentically Savoyard. Its slopes wind through spruce forests and open meadows, offering a gentle but varied terrain that suits families, beginners, and more experienced skiers alike. From the top of the Torraz sector, you’re treated to spectacular panoramic views of the Mont Blanc massif – a reminder of just how special this corner of the Alps is. There are 63 runs served by 32 lifts, which gives a nice balance of lift infrastructure without feeling overcrowded.
What makes La Giettaz especially attractive is its connection into the Les Portes du Mont‑Blanc ski area, meaning you get more variety than a small resort might suggest. You can easily hop between the peaceful village slopes and link over to Combloux, Megève, and Cordon – making it feel like a hidden gem that gives you access to something much bigger. Plus, thanks to its traditional mountain architecture, friendly atmosphere, and quieter pace, it’s a ski destination where you can relax, enjoy the scenery, and ski without the stress of very crowded mega-resorts.

What’s included in the La Giettaz Ski Pass?
- There are more limited pass options with the La Giettaz Ski Pass: for example, the Portes du Mont‑Blanc pass covers just Combloux, Megève‑Le Jaillet, La Giettaz, and Cordon if you don’t need the full Évasion domain.
- The Évasion Mont‑Blanc pass covers six ski resorts: La Giettaz, Combloux, Megève, Saint-Gervais, Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce, and Les Contamines / Hauteluce.
- This pass gives you access to a large combined domain with 445 km of slopes (note: not all areas are ski-to-ski linked).
