Évasion Mont-Blanc Ski Map

Évasion Mont-Blanc is a truly spectacular place to ski and snowboard, thanks to its sheer size and the variety of terrain spread across several iconic Alpine resorts. With over 400 km of slopes, you get both the charm of traditional mountain villages – like Megève and Saint-Gervais – and the thrill of more challenging terrain high up with panoramic views of Mont Blanc. The area is very well linked, so you can explore different sectors each day without it feeling like a slog.

What really elevates Évasion Mont-Blanc is its balanced atmosphere: it’s large, but not overwhelmingly crowded like some mega-resorts. You’ll find everything from mellow tree-lined runs to steeper red and black pistes, plus freeride spots and snow parks. The stunning scenery of the Mont Blanc massif provides a breathtaking backdrop, making every run feel a little more special.

Ski Season Length and Dates

The ski season in Évasion Mont-Blanc typically runs from late December to mid-April. For the 2025–2026 season, for example, the general opening is on 20 December 2025, with a full closure around 12 April 2026.

Is it good for beginners?

Yes – Évasion Mont-Blanc is very beginner-friendly. There’s a dedicated beginner area at Mont d’Arbois (around 1,840 m) that offers gentle slopes, safe conveyor lifts, and a very gradual learning terrain. Wide, tree-lined blue runs also help build confidence, and several of the linked resorts mean beginners have lots of options without being forced straight onto very steep terrain.

What’s included in the Évasion Mont-Blanc Ski Pass?

  • The Évasion Mont-Blanc ski pass gives you access to six main ski resorts: Megève, Saint-Gervais, Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce, Combloux, La Giettaz, and Les Contamines (Hauteluce). These are all part of one integrated ski domain, giving you access to around 445 km of piste (even if some parts aren’t ski-to-ski linked).
  • You don’t have to buy a pass for “just one resort” – the Évasion pass is designed to cover the whole area. That said, there are different pass options: for example, a Liberty pass lets you ski on non-consecutive days, which can save money if you’re not skiing every day.
