Aussois Piste Map and Overview

Aussois is a charming, family‑friendly ski resort in the Maurienne Valley that’s perfect for those who want relaxed Alps skiing without the hustle and bustle of larger destinations. Known for its sunny slopes and beautiful views of the surrounding peaks, Aussois has a welcoming, village‑scale feel that appeals to families, beginners, and intermediate riders alike. Despite its compact layout, the ski area feels lively and diverse thanks to its mix of pistes through forest and open terrain.

What makes Aussois especially enjoyable is how accessible and varied the skiing is: gentle green and blue runs are ideal for newcomers, while intermediates can explore longer red trails and scenic descents from higher up the mountain. There’s also a small selection of black terrain for those seeking a bit more challenge, plus fun features like boardercross and a snowpark near the base. Snowmaking coverage and high altitude — up to approximately 2,700–2,750 m — help keep conditions reliable through much of the season, and the sunny exposure means plenty of bright, enjoyable days on the slopes.
