Pallas Piste Map and Overview

Pallas is a ski resort in Finnish Lapland that appeals especially to those who want a more relaxed, natural skiing experience rather than massive downhill terrain. It’s set in the beautiful Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, so scenery is a major draw: wide open fells, snowy forests, northern lights, fresh air, and feeling connected with nature. Skiers who like off-piste, soft snow, gentler slopes, fewer crowds and a quieter atmosphere tend to really enjoy it. The resort also takes pride in using as much natural snow as possible and not over-engineering the slopes, so there’s a real sense of authenticity.

For beginners and intermediates it’s particularly good: most of the slopes are easier ones, which means less stress and more confidence building. Also, because the ski area is compact, everything is close by – lifts, ski school, accommodation – so less time travelling and more time actually enjoying the snow. And in winter months, the length of daylight grows, making panoramic views and skiing under light that changes dramatically.
