Levi Piste Map and Overview

Levi is one of Finland’s premier ski resorts, located in Lapland, in the village of Sirkka. It stands out for its reliable snow cover (thanks to its Arctic latitude), good mix of slopes catering especially well to beginners and intermediates, and for having enough challenge to keep more advanced skiers engaged – including a skyline World Cup slalom run. Beyond just the downhill skiing, Levi offers strong infrastructure: many lifts, snowmaking, night-skiing, snow parks, and plenty of accommodation close to the slopes. The setting is also memorable, with northern lights, long winters, and a vivid winter atmosphere.

For travellers, Levi strikes a good balance: large enough to offer variety, yet small enough to be manageable without needing endless transfer times or a large mountain commitment. Its vertical drop isn’t massive by Alpine standards, but in the Finnish context it’s impressive, especially when paired with good grooming, reliable lifts and plenty of support services. The resort tends to open early and stay open well into spring, which gives a long season for visitors who want more than just a short winter break.
