Zadov, nestled in the Šumava Mountains of the Czech Republic, offers a charming and accessible ski experience ideal for families and beginners. The resort comprises two main areas: Zadov–Kobyla and Zadov–Churáňov, providing a combined total of 4.8 km (3.0 miles) of groomed slopes. These areas are well-suited for easy to intermediate skiing, featuring gentle blue runs and slightly more challenging red slopes. The resort’s infrastructure includes a variety of ski lifts and snowmaking capabilities, ensuring reliable conditions throughout the season. Additionally, night skiing is available in the Kobyla area, extending the fun into the evening hours.

Beyond alpine skiing, Zadov is renowned for its extensive cross-country skiing opportunities, boasting approximately 80 km (50 miles) of trails. The resort’s location within the Šumava National Park provides a picturesque setting, with well-maintained trails that cater to both classic and skate skiing styles.
