Osogovo Piste Map and Overview

Osogovo, in Bulgaria’s Kyustendil Province near the North Macedonian border, is a compact but well-maintained ski destination that combines affordability, natural beauty, and reliable snow conditions. The mountain features several pistes catering to different skill levels, all of which are supported by snow cannons to ensure consistent coverage and night skiing opportunities. Advanced skiers can test themselves on the 910 m-long Osogovo piste, while intermediates enjoy a scenic 1,300 m run winding near a pine forest. For beginners, the Ludmil Yankov piste (382 m long and 35 m wide) and the Tri Buki slope provide excellent learning terrain, with Osogovo Fun Park adding freestyle features for snowboarders. The resort’s atmosphere is relaxed, family-friendly, and free from the crowds of larger alpine resorts.

The appeal of Osogovo lies in its versatility despite its modest size. From night skiing on perfectly groomed runs to a specialized snowboard park, the resort balances local charm with modern facilities. At an altitude reaching 1,838 m (6,030 ft), skiers enjoy reliable snow, sweeping views of the Osogovo mountain range, and access to pistes maintained daily. Its proximity to Kyustendil makes it an accessible and affordable choice for day trips, while the variety of terrain ensures something for advanced skiers, casual visitors, and first-timers alike.
