Igrišta Piste Map and Overview

Igrišta Ski Resort, nestled on Mount Javor near Vlasenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, offers a charming and accessible destination for winter sports enthusiasts. Originally established as an auxiliary venue for the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics, the resort has undergone significant revitalization, reopening in December 2024 after a €36 million investment. The resort features two main slopes— a red run of 1,900 meters and a blue run of 2,000 meters — both equipped with advanced artificial snowmaking systems to ensure optimal conditions throughout the season. A six-seater chairlift efficiently transports up to 2,500 skiers per hour, enhancing the overall skiing experience.

Beyond its well-maintained slopes, Igrišta caters to families and beginners with a dedicated ski training area, a tubing track, and a beginner’s slope. The resort’s location on Mount Javor, known for its pristine air and natural beauty, provides a serene backdrop for winter activities. Future development plans include the construction of additional ski slopes, hotels, and recreational facilities, aiming to transform Igrišta into a premier year-round destination.
