Ruba Piste Map and Overview
Ruba Ski Center offers a refreshing contrast to larger resorts by embracing a more intimate, local vibe. Located by the picturesque Western Dvina River, it features four compact alpine slopes – ranging from 180 to 300 m in length – with varied difficulty levels (beginner to intermediate), making it great for families, learners, or casual skiers. The resort’s use of natural terrain, paired with partial earthworks, allows for a charming landscape that feels authentic and unpretentious.
Despite its size, Ruba is well-equipped and practical. It has two T-bar (or baby-lift) lifts, enabling convenient slope access – even offering night skiing thanks to lighting – adding flexibility for evening outings. There’s also a youth sports school for alpine skiing and freestyle founded back in 1988, as well as facilities like a changing room and ski rental, supporting both recreational and training activity.
