Zillertal Arena Piste Map and Overview
Zillertal Arena is one of Austria’s standout ski and snowboard destinations, offering crisp alpine air, expansive terrain, and breathtaking views from the Austrian Tyrol into Salzburg’s Pinzgau. With 150 km (93 mi) of well-groomed pistes and a lift network of 52 modern lifts, it’s easy to explore from early morning until the lifts close. The terrain has something for everyone — wide, scenic cruisers for relaxed skiing, winding intermediate routes that link villages from Zell am Ziller to Gerlos and Königsleiten, plus a handful of more challenging steeps for those looking to test their skills. Nearly all slopes sit above 1,300 m, snowmaking is extensive, and the altitude up to 2,500 m helps deliver reliable snow throughout the season.
What really makes Zillertal Arena shine is its friendly and varied atmosphere. Families, beginners, intermediates, and freeriders all find their niche here, with dedicated learning zones in Gerlos and Hochkrimml, long intermediate runs that let you link villages in one day, and plenty of cosy alpine huts to take a break over snacks and views. The network’s size means even on busy days you can spread out across the mountain and still find fresh tracks — and with the slopes stretching through charming Tyrolean communities, there’s a welcoming vibe both on and off the snow.

What’s included in the Ski Pass?

- Day and multi-day tickets valid on all lifts in the Zillertal Arena.
- Season and flexible options such as the Zillertal Arena season pass or the wider Zillertal Superskipass (valid throughout the whole Zillertal, including other ski areas).

Does it include multiple resorts?
In the Zillertal Arena area itself, the pass links four main sectors: Zell am Ziller, Gerlos, Königsleiten/Wald, and Hochkrimml.
Are there cheaper, smaller passes?
You can buy single-area or short-duration tickets valid only in the Zillertal Arena (e.g., 1.5 day or daily tickets), but if you plan to explore beyond this area (e.g., into Hochzillertal-Hochfügen, Mayrhofner Bergbahnen, or the Hintertux Glacier), then a Zillertal Superskipass or Snow Card Tirol will give access to multiple ski areas without needing separate passes.
