Hinterglemm Ski Map

Hinterglemm Piste Map and Overview

Hinterglemm is directly attached to Saalbach and provides the main connecting ski link through to the off piste haven of Fieberbrunn. Hinterglemm is a more upscale, family friendly town compared to Saalbach – with the added bonus of hosting night skiing including a small beginner’s park several times per week! In our experience, the Hinterglemm slopes are less crowded than Saalbach – and more spread out allowing for lots of side hits and fresh powder – if you know where to look. The perfect Hinterglemm ski day involves finding the “secret lift”, take a look at the map – it’s on there, night skiing the park – and then dancing the night away at the wild “Goat bar”. Bonus points if you have enough energy left to go on the night sleigh run!

Hinterglemm is a superb choice for a ski holiday, offering a perfect blend of serene Alpine charm and access to some of the best skiing in Austria. Situated in the heart of the Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn, Hinterglemm provides a slightly quieter alternative to its neighboring town of Saalbach while still delivering a vibrant après-ski scene and excellent amenities. The village is known for its cozy atmosphere, with a range of accommodation options that cater to all budgets, from family-friendly hotels to luxurious chalets. The pedestrian-friendly center is convenient for visitors, with ski-in, ski-out access from many lodging options, making it easy to hit the slopes each day.

The skiing in Hinterglemm is world-class, with direct access to the extensive Skicircus area, boasting over 270 kilometers of slopes suitable for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. The variety of runs, from gentle beginner slopes to thrilling black runs, ensures that every skier can find something to enjoy. Hinterglemm also offers some of the best night skiing in the region, with floodlit slopes that extend the skiing day well into the evening. The modern lift system is highly efficient, ensuring quick access to the peaks and minimal waiting times.
