Saalbach Skicircus Ski Map

The Skicircus is a huge Austrian ski area combining the resorts of Saalbach, Hinterglemm, Leogang and Fieberbrunn. Each resort has it’s own charm, and balance each other well. Head to Saalbach if you want a rowdy good time. Hinterglemm is best for families and very popular for night skiing. Leogang has excellent snow and a world class funpark / snowpark. Finally, Fieberbrunn is one of the best freeride zones in all of Europe, attracting events such as the Freeride World Tour to the steep and secluded runs.

Check out the maps of each ski resort in the Skicircus at the links below:

Click the links above to check out the ski map for each individual ski area. Unlike other ski areas in Europe, all of the above are accessible once you are on the mountain. No need to drive/get busses between! Notably, Fieberbrunn is a bit of a treck away from everywhere else – however that contributes to the excellent powder conditions deeper in the mountain range!

Is Zell Am See connected to the Saalbach Skicircus?

If the huge Skicircus is not enough for you, it is a little known secret that the slopes of Zell Am See are also accessible via a short 10 minute bus + additional gondola ride. Extending even further, you can then ski down into the town of Zell Am See and grab a bus to the Kaprun glacier – all in one day!

What is the Skicircus Challenge?

In the Saalbach Skicircus there is an infamous event known as “The Challenge”. This runs throughout the whole ski season – and you can opt in to doing it at any time if you are feeling bold. Essentially, you need to ski 65km through each section of the ski circus (Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn) in one day. It should take a proficcient skier around 7 hours to cover the 32 lifts, 65km and 12,400 metres of altitude in total. If you are up for it, we recommend packing a lunch and plenty of water – you will only have time to snack on the lifts! Best to book in for a massage or spa session afterwards to rest the inevitably sore legs!
