Tsaghkadzor Ski Resort, located in the Kotayk Province of Armenia, is the country’s largest and most developed ski destination. Situated approximately 60 km northeast of Yerevan, the resort is easily accessible and offers a variety of slopes catering to all skill levels. The resort boasts 30 km (18.6 miles) of skiable terrain, with 16 total trails and a vertical drop of 854 m (2,802 ft).
The resort features a modern lift system consisting of five lifts, including one detachable quad and four double chairlifts, all manufactured by the Leitner Group. The ski season typically runs from mid-December to late March, with the top slopes often remaining suitable for skiing into April. Tsaghkadzor also offers ski and snowboard rentals, as well as instructors, making it an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced skiers.
