Nestled just 11–14 km from Bosanski Petrovac amidst scenic mountain terrain, Ski Center Oštrelj is a small yet charming alpine destination born out of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s 1984 Winter Olympic legacy. The resort offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere ideal for families, beginners, and nature lovers. You’ll find ski lessons, equipment rentals, a T-bar (stem lift), plus a baby lift for youngsters. The slopes traverse forested mountainsides and offer a peaceful getaway packed with winter charm and easy access.

While compact in scale, Oštrelj delivers a satisfying alpine experience: about 2 km (1.24 mi) of downhill terrain with a mix of 1.5 km easy runs and 0.5 km intermediate slopes – no black runs, perfect for learning and relaxed skiing. The vertical drop spans approximately 182 m (597 ft), from a base elevation around 1,044 m to a summit near 1,226 m, offering enough elevation for flowing descents without being overwhelming . All in all, Oštrelj is an excellent choice for a cozy, off-beat ski day in Bosnia’s beautiful Una-Sana region.
