Located on the West Point military academy campus, this unique DoD-operated slope offers evening skiing and midweek night sessions that are ideal for locals or families looking for a low-key, after-school or post-work winter escape. Skiers often describe the groomed runs – especially Holman Run and “Rodney Smith to Short Short”—as surprisingly satisfying for how small the hill is, with a fun bunny slope for beginners in the mix.
With just two lifts – a triple chairlift and a rope tow – the hill handles the traffic well, resulting in minimal wait times and a relaxed atmosphere.
