Snow Ridge Piste Map and Overview

Snow Ridge, located in Turin, New York all the way up on the Tug Hill Plateau, delivers exceptional snowfall – averaging around 230 inches ( 5.84 m) per season – making it one of the snowiest ski areas in the East. Despite its modest size, the terrain packs a punch: around 65% snowmaking coverage supports well-groomed runs, and the glade skiing – like “North Ridge” and “Amazing Grace” – offers steep, fall-line descents that thrill intermediate and advanced skiers with tight, technical lines and relatively uncrowded runs. With short lift lines, rugged terrain, and a local vibe, Snow Ridge stands out as an accessible but fearless destination – great value, especially for those chasing fresh powder or eager to explore glades without battling crowds.

The mountain covers about 10 kilometers ( 6 miles) of skiable slope length – totaling roughly 130 acres ( 0.53 km²) – across 31 trails, including two terrain parks. With a vertical drop of 500 ft ( 198 m) – from a base elevation of 1,350 ft ( 411 m) to a summit of approximately 1,850–2,000 ft ( 564–610 m) – it offers sustained, fall-line skiing that maximizes those vertical feet and is beloved by more adventurous Eastern riders.
