Labrador Mountain, located near Truxton in New York’s Finger Lakes region, is a small yet charming ski area that caters especially well to families, beginners, and local skiers. Its modest vertical drop of 700 ft allows for a manageable, relaxed skiing pace – ideal for learning the ropes or practicing turns without the intimidation of steep terrain. Despite its compact footprint, it offers a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and often features ungroomed terrain on the sides that challenges intermediate riders just enough to keep things interesting.
With 22 trails served by four to six lifts and a reliable snowmaking system, Labrador consistently delivers good coverage during the season.
